Students will engage in art experiences where they are encouraged to enjoy the creative process. They will have the opportunity to explore different tools and mediums to create pieces that are uniquely their own. This class is taught by Rachel Daniels, Guilford parent and educator who has been teaching art classes at the preschool and elementary school levels for many years. Classes will be indoors. Open to Grades K-2.

Thursdays 12/9 & 12/16

Students will play theatre games and exercises to learn about theater and
the technique behind it in a fun way. This is an introduction and
foundation to the great art of drama. This class will be taught by Rachael
Brown, a member of KidzKonnection, a student of UNH as a theater major, and actively taking vocal lessons. Classes will be held indoors. Open to Grades K-4.

Tuesday 12/14 (One 90 min class)

Make your own Scented Eye Pillow Gift! Give the gift of peace and calm to a loved one this winter with a kid-made scented eye pillow! This special session of Yoga Masters will begin with a short but sweet yoga session focused on joyful giving. Kids then design and stuff a handmade scented eye pillow, choosing from a variety of fabrics and essential oils. We will test our creations with a guided mindfulness activity. Taught by Yogi Christine Saari. Classes will be held indoors. Open to Grades K-4. Note: registration fee includes $5 materials fee for scented eye pillow project.

Wednesdays 12/8 & 12/15

The change of summer into fall and fall into winter create a beautiful tableau for artists with the constantly changing colors in nature. Over these two weeks, we will look at examples of early fall and early winter. Our first work of art will be inspired by a photography of our local early fall scenery. A glimpse into early winter will be inspired by the artwork of Hyatt Moore. This class is taught by Kristen Skoneiczny who has been teaching art enrichment classes in elementary schools and preschools for the past several years. Classes will be indoors. Open to Grades K-4.

Mondays 12/6 & 12/13

Join us for a student-centered/hands-on learning approach that leads students to explore and investigate science, technology, math, and engineering! Students will have fun working together to become problem solvers investigating seasonal STEM activities. Taught by Laura Cruz, teacher at Guilford Community Nursery School. Classes will be held indoors. Open to Grades K-2.
